Caregiver Burnout, Grief, and Support: Beverly Randolph’s Story and The Caregivers Table – The Voice of Aging
Host Brynne Malone of Aging Solutions interviews Beverly Randolph of The Caregivers Table about caregiver isolation, guilt, grief, and practical support. Randolph describes becoming a caregiver after her husband contracted severe H1N1 in 2014, was airlifted for ECMO treatment, spent nine months hospitalized, underwent dialysis after kidney failure, and returned home needing a walker, wheelchair, and oxygen. After caring for him four more years until his passing, she founded caregiver support groups, a Facebook community, newsletter, podcast, blog, and two Amazon books. She now cares for her mother with dementia on hospice. She advises caregivers to prioritize self-care, set boundaries, and accept facility placement if safer, and urges others to help caregivers proactively with messages, visits, and gift cards. Malone also outlines Aging Solutions’ Advisory and Concierge Services, and the Trinity products.@thecaregiverstablethecaregiverstable@yahoo.comAgingSolutionsNW.com
